Commercial & Private Sector

The business changed shape. The systems kept theirs.

Every acquisition, system, and vendor adds weight the original infrastructure was never built to carry. Charter assesses, designs, and operates the systems commercial operators run on, so growth doesn't outpace technology and infrastructure.

The Reality

The demands grew faster than the headcount.

Mid-market businesses face the same threats, compliance demands, and customer expectations as the enterprise, without the same headcount or budget to meet them. Charter assesses, designs, and operates the infrastructure that keeps the business running and competitive. Manufacturers, distributors, professional and financial services firms, and private-equity-backed multi-entity operators all run on systems that have to hold up during a shift, not only during a project.

OUR APPROACH

How we move what you're running to a service that holds up.

ASSESS

We find out what your current setup actually costs

We inventory the application estate, review the security posture, vendor agreements and licensing, and establish what the current environment actually costs. Two to six weeks, across sites or entities. You get written findings and a costed shortlist.

Design

We turn the architecture into stages the business can fund

We design the target architecture, then sequence it into stages that fit the budget year and can each be funded on their own line. Four to eight weeks, built with IT and whoever owns the number, with a business case that holds up in front of an owner, a board or a sponsor.

Deliver

We do the work without taking the business offline

Infrastructure refresh, application integration, and workflow modernization for the processes still running on spreadsheets and email threads. Identity comes into one place and integrations connect systems to a common source rather than to each other.

Operate

We stay on it after go-live

Monitoring, patching, service desk and lifecycle planning on a defined model, with the same team. Where hiring is the bottleneck, managed services carry the operating load so internal staff can focus on the work only they can do. AI governance is added as Copilot reaches the tenant.
