Bosch Rexroth Hydraulics Distributor

Our customer, a Western Canadian distributor for Bosch Rexroth Hydraulics, stocking inventory at 9 warehouses, with dedicated Inside and Outside Sales, Service Departments and Engineering in 8 locations. One goal was to establish a new primary Data Centre, and leverage Cloud services to migrate some production workloads, with the primary focus being their ERP system and its dependencies. They recently migrated to Office 365 for their email services and wanted to review their other server workloads to see what makes sense from an operations and cost perspective, to migrate to cloud services.

Project Objective

  • Migrate Business Critical Applications from Colocation Hosting Data Center in Vancouver to Azure Infrastructure as a Service
  • Migrate Voice & VPN Services from Colocation Hosting Data Center in Vancouver to the Langley Branch location
  • Integrate Azure Network into existing Meraki SD-WAN

Project Solution

  • Cloud Assessment to provide Total Cost of Ownership, Return on Investment as well as Application dependencies and migration methodology
  • Technical Team to Planned and Executed the Voice and VPN service migration with minimal disruption to end users
