Charter now provides a tailored, single contact point for customers’ network maintenance.
Victoria, BC: Charter Telecom Inc. has taken a big step in its relationship with Juniper Networks Inc., the leading high performance network company in North America. Already Canadian Enterprise partner of the Year for 2007, the Victoria-based network development specialist now has the capacity to provide customers with direct, comprehensive maintenance for their Juniper-equipped networks.
As a J-Partner Operate Service Specialist, Charter is able to offer network customers single contact, personalized maintenance service from knowledgeable technicians plus enhanced levels of technical support from Juniper Networks.
“We are one of the first network suppliers in Western Canada to achieve this specialization,” explains Charter President Paul Chandler. “It means our customers can deal directly with a Charter service specialist who has an intimate knowledge of their networks, so they can expect a quicker solution.”
“The Operate Specialization program enables Charter to sell their own brand of maintenance service to their customers and has access to technical training, tools and other resources,” says Maggie Petro, Americas Service Partner Manager at Juniper Networks. “As a recognized J-Partner Operate Specialist, Charter can now provide a single-source problem resolution process for their customers, while leveraging Juniper’s service organization and infrastructure to augment their support capabilities.”
The Operate Specialization program gives Charter the maximum flexibility to provide customers with Level 1 and 2 customer support through its its own service management desk and the ability to access Juniper’s technical services on a priority basis when so required.
